I am blessed or damned with a variety of creative talents.
Whichever it is, no day of my life goes by without creating something new.
Obviously this blog is for my writing.
In March 2014 I have removed all previously published Dutch texts.
I’m not a native English speaker but I’ve switched to writing in English.
My editors reassure me editing my work is usually a matter of tidying up here and there.
Still you might find the odd grammatical mistake in un-edited pieces.
I have had smaller publications in Dutch and wrote some columns for Daily Newspapers before I took the plunge.
My 2005 Dutch debut novel ‘Vuile Was’ (Dirty Laundry) was a 250.000 word family drama.
It was well received and made it into all Dutch Public Libraries.
I’ve translated this novel to English reduced the text volume to 140.000 words.
This is yet to be edited and published.
In 2013 I wrote Metaphors of Death.
A story based on quirky characters and frightening events I experienced during my 10 year stay in Thailand.
Bangkok based publishers Spanking Pulp Press decided to publish this in 2014.
